Restoring Freedom: How Agape International Missions (AIM) Is Fighting Human Trafficking and Changing Lives💙

In a world where millions of people—especially women and children—are trapped in modern-day slavery, Agape International Missions (AIM) is bringing hope, healing, and justice. Founded in 2005, AIM is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending human trafficking through rescue, restoration, and prevention.

What began as a response to the trafficking crisis in Cambodia has grown into a powerful global movement that changes lives and transforms communities.

A Mission to Rescue, Restore, and Empower

AIM’s work goes beyond simply freeing victims. Their mission is to walk with each survivor on their journey to healing—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Their programs are rooted in love, dignity, and long-term support.

Through their Rescue Operations, AIM works with local law enforcement to conduct raids and bring traffickers to justice. So far, they’ve helped rescue over 1,500 survivors and facilitated the arrest of over 350 traffickers.

But rescue is just the beginning.

Long-Term Restoration and Healing

AIM provides safe housing, trauma-informed counseling, medical care, and education to help survivors rebuild their lives. Their restoration homes are places of hope, where girls receive the love and care they need to heal.

Through vocational training and employment opportunities—like sewing, cosmetology, and other trades—AIM empowers survivors to become independent and confident. Many women go on to lead others, becoming mentors and role models within their communities.

Breaking the Cycle with Prevention

AIM believes that prevention is just as critical as rescue. They work in vulnerable communities to provide resources, education, and job creation to reduce the risk of exploitation before it begins.

Their School Reintegration Program helps at-risk children stay in school, while their community outreach effortscreate safe environments through youth clubs, counseling, and family support.

Justice for Survivors

Trafficking doesn’t end with freedom—it ends when justice is served. AIM partners with law enforcement and governments to prosecute traffickers, strengthen anti-trafficking laws, and improve systems that protect survivors. Their legal advocacy team walks alongside victims through the court process, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights defended.
